A few days ago Gregory reposted a few words from Sarah Rae at Ohdeedoh on the tried and true record player. She mentioned that her old school player gets as much action as the MP3s on her hard drive. While our record player is waiting for us in our parent's basement in California, we couldn't help but think we'd start buying more LPs if this techy concept were a reality...

Crazy thing is there were a number of portable turntables back in the late 70's, early 80's such as the Audio Technica AT-727 "Sound Burger". Certainly wouldn't hurt my feelings if the Linos every hit the store shelves.
this thing is great. I just don't have the room to justify a full-size record player based on the size of my collection, but am now left with now a small collection of unusable lps. i'd be all over this.
So cool!
Oh, now THAT is just wicked cool! I would adore something like this...being USB, I could finally convert all my records to digi-audio! I only have about 100 or so...but the laptop is HERE and the turntable/receiver is THERE!
What a cool idea!
