Concrete sinks are a little bit rough and a little bit sleek. Their stone-like looks mixed with their seamlessness make them great considerations for contemporary homes with a warm touch. There are seemingly endless possibilities for molding the material into creative design solutions. Here are some of our favorite concrete sinks made just for the bathroom:
1: A tiny concrete sink by Heike Muehlhaus
2: VC Studio Inc.'s compact Fremont design. That dark line in the sink bowl isn't the faucet's shadow. It's the drain!
3: A "banjo" sink and countertop all in one piece by Trueform Concrete.
4: A concrete-topped vanity with integral sink via Cottonwood Meadow.
5: A tiny linear vessel with an un-customary side tap by architect Christopher Beardsley.

#1 looks like a cinderblock.
I like the thrid one!
These are all great. I especially love 3 & 4, but would kick 5 out of the house either. I might just have to try my hand at making one for our half-bath.
I love the first and fourth sinks!
There are great instructions from Cheng concrete. I keep wanting to do this - but its a messy project. Maybe when I get around to renovating bathroom #3...
(I love #2 and #4, and would be happy with any except #1)
3 and 4 rock
I really like the first one, although I would probably not put in a bathroom. It would look cool in a studio.
3rd and 4th are my favorites
I wonder how durable those are. Like would it be cost efficient in an apartment?
why must concrete counters and sinks be so expensive? I'd love to have one but installing marble is cheaper out here (and yes I did price both)
First one is too literal; I actually quite like the second one, but maybe in a darker finish. It may be a bit shallow/small. Third one looks so normal it's almost not worth it; fourth is kind of too big, I wonder what ppl do with the part of the sink the water can't reach until you've stopped the drain for awhile. Five is interesting but perhaps too narrow (can you wash your face over it without getting water everywhere?) and the finish seems pretty manky. XD
I think I don't like sink #1. In fact, I'm pretty positive I don't. Nope ... don't like it at all. I think the problem with concrete isn't necessarily the cost, but getting someone who is skilled at doing it.

Really in love with concrete since the exhibit at Nat'l Building Museum a few years ago. In my dream house, the kitchen counters/sinks and even some shelves would be polished concrete with recycled green glass aggregate.
great job.
#1 doesn't do much for me, hahaha.
I like #4 best.
Touching unpolished concrete is like fingernails on a blackboard. #1 looks like a drinking fountain at a state park.
#1 is BANANAS!!!! Industrial modern perfection!!!
3,4,5 = gorgeous!!!
Love these - concrete sinks are the best.....my fav here is number 4 - excellent work and an earthy warm colour
