Shaw's Original Fir...
Congrats! Party at your house?
I do love this apartment, but for the Whole World Small Cool winner I would go with Rajiv
I liked the contest better last year, when you got to see additional pictures of the finalist's apartments.
agreed about Rajiv
You guys totally deserve to win! I'm so proud of you both!
Agreed, mrs yow.
Congratulations!!
Congratulations!
Congratulations! Your house is absolutely stunning and a real inspiration for those of us living in similarly small places.
Enjoy the shopping spree!
Yeah... why didn't the International entries have a chance to compete for the 1st place title? Did they?
I love the contest and the winning home, but agree with those above about Rajiv's fabulous apartment!
at least the dorm didnt win.
"...but for the Whole World Small Cool winner I would go with Rajiv"
Agreed - His rug was the correct size for his room and his furniture arrangement was much better.
FULL house tour now please!!
The contest rules state that only US residents can receive prizes - I assume there is some legal reason this is the case. So to Rajiv go bragging rights, but no $$.
Congrats to the winners! And Rajiv, I loved your place too.
congrats!
Congrats, B & S!
Your apartment is ten times more interesting than your final competitors'. I love where the grey wall meets the ivory wall, near the bed, and the picture grouping above the desk.
(Bepsf--- I find Rajiv's area rug a wee bit too small, I'd rather see the lounge chair & other piece sitting atop the rug (meaning: a larger rug). The furniture pieces would seem better 'anchored' in the sitting area, to me.)
Congrats to Brenden and Shannon! You have a beautiful place.
Rajiv--I LOVE your apartment. Great work!
Lovely apt-- so glad you won.
I gave a party in your honor.
Well, no guests were actually here, but I had a couple of drinks and thought of you.
Congrats!
Congratulations!
Rajiv...much love for your home too!
Nice! I think this won, because it is strong, tasteful, yet restrained. Edited RESTRAINT is the key! You don't need pink walls, or posters from Urban Outfitters to make a nice statement.
I actually loved this from the start. Well-deserved winner. Congratulations!
My fave was victorian grandness in boston. I adored that on but I think the pics werent great quality, and if they were better then Colour theory would have won overall.
But to be fair I love ALL the winners, and there was something i'd steal from every contestant, even the apartments that didnt win.
Well Done!!
Congrats and also heartily agree about Rajiv's spectacular space! Also agree with Fred Astaire that the victorian grandness in boston was beautiful but needed more professional photos to do justice to that space.
The place looks great. Could you tell me where you bought that chair. It looks nice. I live in Dallas and have been trying to find one.
