Playing the guitar is so fun and a serious passion of some people pretty close to us. Due to space and money, they've recently sold their full size amps and are now feeling the depression of not having them anymore. We felt we should offer them a pretty unique and interesting alternative. Plug their guitar directly into their iDevices.

iRig: The iRig plugs directly into your iDevice and turns it into an amplifier! iRig is small enough to keep in your pocket along with your iPod, iPad or iPhone and instantly transforms your phone into a recording studio. There are tons of settings and controls so it's just like sitting in a recording studio, but on your couch!

Apogee JAM Guitar Input: Studio-quality guitar sound on iPad, iPhone, or Mac. Just simply plug and play for excellent sound quality and ample controls. Made for GarageBand on iOS devices or with any Core Audio application on Mac.

Make It: iPhone Guitar Connection Kit: If you're interested in making your own jack you'll need a few things. First, you'll need a cable that splits a jack to three RCA phono plugs (good-quality iPod AV cable). Next, put on an RCA-to-mono jack adapter (for the guitar) and an RCA-to-female-minijack adapter for the headphones. Then you're ready to go!
