Wow! My first thought on seeing this space is "Sherlock Holmes should live here." Not sure why that should come to mind, but really love the look and feel of this room.

This doesn't look like a home; it looks like an antique store.
I agree with @cosmias. It's kind of goth antique, is over stylized, and doesn't seem particularly warm and inviting as a home should be.

I guess it depends on what your view of 'warm and inviting' is. I think it's both.
Because something is dramatic and a bit imposing to you doesn't make it less of a home, it is someone -else's- home after all ;)

J'adore les différents styles qui donnent une âme,offre le confort et les mélanges des époques sont un complément avec beaucoup de chandeliers qui donne le goût de faire le vide avec un bon livre et avoir le goût de rêver et possiblement de créer. Bravo !
