We don't know about you, but we have a small tool collection of tiny screws and other miscellaneous parts from hard drives, disassembled printers and other accessories. On occasion, we've even lost some important screws after disassembly despite taking precautions like using magnets or cup to hold them while we were upgrading or switching out parts. Now we think we should follow the lead Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories DIY small parts tray, made out of a collection of empty contact lens cases, hot glued together onto a board for safe keeping...

When all your cases are glued on, fill with components, buttons, beads, or what-have-you. Label the caps with a permanent marker. And that's it! Your parts are safe and sound, easy to get to and organized.
