Q: I am an artist and I use the office in my rental apartment as my studio. It has a large built-in wooden desk that I would like to use to paint on. I need to somehow protect this desk from paint drips and spills. I've been using a drop cloth to cover the area, but I would like something that is more permanent but removable.
Is contact paper the way to go? Will paint bleed through it? Is there a certain type or brand that is safest to use with wood? Thank you for your help!
