We love clever solutions to everyday problems, especially when they're budget-friendly and look great at the same time. This simple entryway hook and clipboard system works perfectly for this family!
Flickr member back_garage in Lincoln Square has found a great way to hold all those things that end up in your pockets at the end of the day, or the small memories you'd like to savor just a little bit longer. Clipboards! Each family member is able to clip up whatever they see fit and hang their coats and bags below. It's a great set up and can be done for dirt cheap!
Even if your entryway isn't large enough, maybe try a clipboard in a place where you constantly accumulate small bits and pieces, like an office or laundry room.

Not for me, looks too "old school" for me and I mean that literally, it looks like something I saw growing up. :)
They can also be used for inspirational purposes! http://craftscafe.wordpress.com/2010/02/08/new-crafts-space/
i can't support this. it needs some spiffing up. brand new clipboards, perhaps some stylish lucite ones with a pattern. or at least patterned paper/cloth on these. and uniform size.
I think there are two schools of styling approaches one can pull this off, crafty use of clip boards, tea cups, branches, hanging buckets, inspiration boards and so on... then there are people like me that it just does not work would look silly and not so stylish.
I feel like you would go to clip something in there and then everything else would fall off...
Just toss or file your mail immediately, no need for clipboards.
I just don't... like it, the idea of clipboards hanging in my room. Sure, I suppose they serve a function (hanging pictures, documents, etc.), but they just look so CHEAP. And that is my problem :(
Isn't this a recycled article? I've seen the exact same photo before
Put that ID card in your wallet and file/shred/recycle the rest.
I think this is a cute idea, but this just looks junky. If they were all the same size, and painted a cute color, or like someone said, lucite clipboards and not old school boards this would look really precious.

That being said, I love the idea - I'm thinking about getting some clipboards to put on my fridge to organize pictures of friends and family.
A little spray paint would do those puppies a lot of good. It is an interesting idea, given the right circumstance.
Thanks jessicareese for letting us know about the previous post, hopefully this will serve as inspiration once more!
Did anyone else have nostalgic pains for the old Illinois licenses? Like the one in the picture where your face is the shape of the state...
*sigh* I miss those.
Cure idea, actually - never would have thought of that!
Mjs7640 is right on. I don't see how displaying clutter on the wall is a way of "controlling" it.
