Hourani made it a priority to preserve as much of the former mill as possible during the renovation. To the stone walls in what became the living room, he simply added transparent shelves to maintain the original look of the material while adding a place to display found glassware he transformed into a unique floral display.
The couch, made of cushions on wheels, is covered in bed linens with the idea that redecoration will be as simple as changing the color of the top sheets and rolling the pieces into a different configuration. The coffee table is a white washed palette with drawers added for storage.
Each room is filled with personal items and designs that turn a formerly industrial environment into a warm and charming space.

pretty & some interesting ideas -
All those would turn into DIY nightmares if I tried my hand at them :)
So beautiful. That wall with the glass shelves is completely awesome. The chandelier made of old lampshades is wonderful. The empty frames, meh. but it doesn't matter because the rest is so good.
that mixed-shade chandelier reminds me of a prop from the film 'nanny mcphee and the big bang'. just inside the door to the farmhouse there's a lovely chandelier with mixed-glass shades. i love watching it with my sons just for that scene.
Just to signal there's a "i" missing at the first Marie Clare and there's no "s" at Marseille
In English there is a s at Marseilles, like London is Londres in French, you know different spelling ....
the multi shade chandelier is fun, but too reminiscent of the IKEA lighting department. I've built almost that exact same installation in store.
Appears to be a mix of Alice in Wonderland and Count of Monte Cristo
