There's lots of great convertible kids' furniture out there, and we've profiled much of it. This piece from Castor & Chouca is a little different, though. The unusual changing table design actually converts into a substantial desk that a child could use all the way up through college.
The Nappy Changing Table has a truly unique design. Unlike other changers, this one has a "roof" that allows for storage on top of the piece as well as in a few clever nooks inside. The drawers below the table are telescoping so you can reach whatever you need while your baby is laying on the roll-out changing mattress. The body is made from high-quality, sustainable bamboo, and the interior comes in three colors: turquoise, cream, or taupe.
Made in France, this changing table is definitely an investment, but the heirloom quality and excellent, long-term design could make it your statement piece.

Shaw's Original Fir...
Geez. For that price, you could buy a changing table made of gold, donate to the poor when done, then buy a desk that is also made of gold. It loses the convertible appeal when you spend ungodly amounts of money on it. If you have that much to spend, you don't need convertible furniture--especially since most of it is cheesy.
