Cooking at home. We're all busy people, right? In my perfect world I cook every night but the reality is that I cook about once a month. (I don't think scrambled eggs in the morning count really, but it's something...). The Fall Cure is all about reclaiming our homes and enjoying being in them largely through cooking, and this week's assignment is to cook 5 nights out of the week. Not only is cooking good for our homes, but it's good for our health too. Read a lot more about the benefits of cooking at home at any number of Slow Food websites.
So how often do you cook at home?

Ha! I'm the only "Never" for now. My rental unit has a new stove which I've never turned on. It's probably going to break from a lack of use.
My fridge is liquids only. Since I live downtown, I buy whatever I need from small markets/shops. I only eat out on weekends (with friends & family).
I'd eat out more often if my rent wasn't so expensive.
I love the SlowFoods website. Gonna join I think. I have felt for some time that it is important (and less processed) to cook at home. Didn't know there was a movement that reflected those same views.
Some of the best times with my husband are after a home made meal at home, lingering at the dinner table to talk, drink and enjoy each others company. Wonderful.
