Are we crazy? We like this Book Stool by Arik Levy. It's so simple, but so useful, and we sort of want it ... or, we want something very similar. Or maybe we just want something that accomplishes the same end result. The concept -- turning magazines into a stool -- solves two of the largest problems we have in our apartment. 1. Not enough seating. 2. Too many magazines that we want to keep, but recycle for lack of space. Now, the question is: Can this possibly be the least bit comfortable? Obviously, there's an easy way to replicate this design on our own. We have adjustable straps in a box, unused, in the basement -- but we never would have thought to use them this way. After all is said and done, we probably won't be trying this because, honestly, in our living room they'd just look like a stack of magazines -- but in the right place (we're optimistic) we think this could work. What do you think?
