Name: Corbin (ETA May 2012)
Location: Chesapeake, VA
My fiance and I are expecting a baby boy, Corbin Lee, in late May 2012. I was super stressed out on how I wanted to decorate his nursery because I didn't want it to be a "themed" nursery. I really love color, D.I.Y. projects, and wanted to make it real personal.
I did A LOT of online research for ideas and really got into Pinteresting. Well it only took about 3 months to get it all together and we had such a good time working together on certain projects and really bringing it together!
It's now the best room in the house and we've decided he can't be sent to his room as a punishment because it's too fun! We bought our crib/changing table off Craigslist and painted it white, the rug and book case are from IKEA, the curtains are from Target, the Robot Quilt is from Etsy and the other little details we made ourselves. The skateboard coat rack is my fiance's old skateboard. I'm very proud of this room and excited to share it with everyone!
Thanks Sandy!

This room is so bright and fun! I really love the crayon/rainbow canvas. I chose a teal and lime theme in my son's nursery as well.

What a creative and lovely room. I think the best nurseries include personal things. Love your skateboard coat rack and shadow box.
This room is one of my favorites I've seen. LOVE the colors. LOVE the robots. LOVE the melted crayon art, type set tray, and other charming details. I will also tell you from experience that having bright colored walls in a nursery make for awesome baby photos. We've got amazing ones of both our kids in front of their brightly colored walls.
Wonderful colors! Nice job!
what a fun, colourful nursery! You'll love spending time in here when your son is born :) I love all the personal details. We recently painted one wall in my son's room that same gorgeous blue, accented with red and black.
THIS is how you do a nursery!!! I'm so impressed! That robot quilt is worth twice whatever you paid for it- and the personal touches and artwork is phenomenal. Very rarely am I blown away by nursery design. But this one does it for me!! Probably my favourite of all time.
