Flamingo

aka: Lorelai (2)
location: Salt Lake City, UT
age group: toddler
difficulty level: semi-easy

materials: A pink feather boa, hot pink hooded sweatshirt, black craft foam, pink baseball cap, foam shoes, needle and thread, hot glue, hot pink tulle.

description: I cut up the feather boa and hand sewed it to the arms and butt of the sweatshirt. and the front of the baseball cap. I then sewed a few layers of the pink tulle to the butt of the sweatshirt to make a cute, fluffy rear end. I glued a big triangle of the black foam to the brim of the hat. I cut out feet shapes from the foam and sewed them to some foam croc shoes that we had. I had her wear pink leggings and leg warmers for legs.
Thanks Kelly!

Blue Bird

aka: Marlo Pearl (5 months)
location: Tulsa, OK
age group: infant
difficulty level: semi-easy

materials: felt, thread, fabric glue, interfacing

description: I cut out 3 different size wing shapes out of white felt and ironed interfacing to the back. I had cut feather like shapes out of three different colors of felt. I glued the feathers to the wings and then stitched one stick through each to secure them . I then stitched ribbon to the inside to be able to tie the wings to her arms so she could still move her arms around. I also stitched some feathers to the bottom of her onesie for her tail feathers.
Thanks Katie!

Barn Owl

aka: Nixon (2 months)
location: Rexburg, ID
age group: infant
difficulty level: semi-easy

materials: I used lots of different colors of felt and craft glue.

description: I sewed the barn to the shape of the stroller, then decorated it by glueing the white barn accents. For the owl i just made a headband and started creating the hat/mask from there. I also made a vest out of felt and decorated it with layers of felt "feathers". More pictures at our blog.
Thanks Jenna!
