Yesterday, we posted a cozy ski resort in the French Alps called Le Lodge. Then we stumbled across another "Le Lodge," also in France. Different hotel, different location, and a completely different look. While one's a cozy cabin in the mountains, the other is a sunny, casual place on the coast of Brittany.
It's a no-brainer to say that place informs interior design, but the difference between these two hotels really drives the point home.
Kerisper's gable roofs cause many of the rooms to feel like attic lofts, with light wood-paneled walls and ceilings. Bedding is white, beige, or gray and colorful details like blankets, throw pillows, and artwork keep the rooms from feeling too whitewashed.
