Could You Live in Only 28 (Floating) Feet?

Pin it button big

Ready for some weekend food for thought? We came across this short (eight minute long) miniature documentary about David Welsford, currently calling a 50-year-old, 28-foot wooden sailboat home. This glimpse into David's life is fascinating and has us daydreaming this weekend about what it would be like...

Though only eight minutes along, the short video goes into why David's calling this small wooden floating boat his home for right now. It also shares some footage on how he actually makes this boat a functional home (even how he cleans it!) and more. It's a fascinating peek into the life of a very small and cozy (and constantly on-the-move!) home.

And it begs the question — could you call a boat this small like this home? And if so, how long do you think you could live on a boat?
