The winner of the Design the Ultimate Office Space for HP and Microsoft Challenge: "HP MIMIC - ULTIMATE SMART OFFICE OF THE FUTURE" By Mulvanny Architecture Zac And Co
Bringing you an office experience unlike any other - marrying the concepts of flexibility and modularity this office solution allows the user to customize their office environment utilizing their HP product's interface. Mimic is a single, fully functional office unit that transforms to the user's requirements and adapts to the office culture, economy and business model. This is the new corner office for everyone spanning disciplines in a reactive, responsive and adaptive manner.
A rigid durable aluminum frame forms the foundation of each unit and can easily be moved to allow for a more open environment. Individual units create a community through adjacencies and the negative space around them. The side and top of the frame feature an collapsible system of rotating electrochromatic glass modules that respond to commands input by way of a HP tablet interface. Each square of glass is attached to a small servo that would rotate from a completely open position to a completely private position, and anything in between depending on the desire of the user. The tri-slide panel is set up to fulfill some of the basic necessities of an office space with a pinup surface, white board surface, and digital electrochromatic glass.
The unit has been furnished with a desk and chair that mimic and respond to the design of the aluminum frame creating the ultimate smart office of the future with the ultimate HP products of today.
