This is a great tip for your home workspace or at your office desk: Before you leave town for a well-deserved extended holiday, cover up your keyboard to keep it dust-free.
Your keyboard is not going to gather an insane amount of dust in two weeks. But when a solid fix is easy and practically free, why not take precautions to prevent a ton of buildup under the keys?
We love this Instrutable from sbgstudios because it makes use of stuff we've already got in our desks: 2 11x17 sheets of paper, a loaded stapler, scissors, tape and a pen.
So get crafty and follow these instructions to keep your keyboard safe and happy while you're gone.

If you're that concerned about dust, couldn't you just turn your keyboard upside down?
Sure, the underside of a keyboard isn't the most attractive thing in the world, but that's not really the point...
Uh...or you could just vacuum it out because you're going to have to do it eventually anyway.
