Q: I am excited to have secured my first apartment in a lovely converted Victorian home, which is lucky enough to still have original stained-glass windows. I'm hunting for solutions that will cover up the odd shape of the windows, but allow me to see the beautiful details during the day...
There are stained glass windows in two rooms of my apartment, one of which is my bedroom. I love the look of the glass once I'm awake, but I like to sleep in total darkness. The normal 'arched shade' does not work since they seem to be mounted inside the arch itself, obscuring the windows. When I hung curtains, it looked very weird next to the shape of the windows (I had them high and wide, if you're curious). Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated! -Sent by Ellie
Editor: How have you all dealt with non-standard window shapes and sizes? Is there a way to showcase the windows while maintaining darkness and/or privacy? Is a sleeping mask the answer?
