Werner Straube's photography portfolio is full of homes that invite you to cozy right up. Some of his photographs are emblazoned with eye-popping color and pattern and others are serene and monotone (like the awesome vintage kitchen shot in photo 2)...
Each of Straube's photographs conveys a modern sensibility set within the backdrops of traditional homes: it's no wonder the Chicago photographer has shot for the likes of Sears, Midwest Living, and Lands' End. For more of his "cozy modern" photographs, see the Werner Straube Photography.

Hm, to me several of those photos are kind of "cold" rather than "cozy", particularly, 1, 2 & 7.
I like that subtle wall stenciling (or whatever it is) in 6.
i love the 3rd one
Love number 6.
I agree with True Tex on the wall stenciling on #6. Personally, I like the wall stencil/design more than the the pictures used in the photo.
Pic #2 is my favorite. I love white.
Chilly but calming. I love the lines and subtle colours of number one.
I would question the use of the term "modern" here.
