Me, me! I like the magazine. It's for a person like me who dabbles in several different types of crafts instead of just knitting or just jewelry or whatever. The design is nice and the projects are really varied so there's something for everyone. I love the blog too.

I picked up that magazine and after going through it 6 or 7 times, drooling over the articles and stuff, i pretty much decided to buy every issue from now on.

also, the website has new projects and ideas posted almost every day! can't complain when they give you so much info all of the time!

it's a great publication, with projects fit for crafters of any level. i actually tried out a few of them and they were great. my favorite is the plexiglas picture frame. you don't need a dedicated workshop (the tools are pretty basic) and it can be done in one afternoon for little money (depending on the wood you use). i made two of them for my tiny showcase prints.

I picked up the first issue of CRAFT and then signed up for a subscription at their booth at the Urban Craft Uprising show in Seattle last weekend. I like to make do the artsy-craftsy thing because it helps me slow down and relax a little in an otherwise hectic world. Of course, it's always fun to see something in a home dec or fashion spread and be able to take my own spin on it for a fraction of the price.

It's great to see crafty publications, sites, blogs, and bazaars moving beyond the cutesy into the more off-beat often using (or reusing/recylcing) unusual materials.

Definitely going to take a look at it on my next bookstore trip... those trees look like they'd miniaturize nicely, and I'm low on inspiration lately.

Though it's a very pretty magazine, I think the $15 cover charge is exorbitant and that keeps me from buying it.
