This incredible-looking home theater room is part of a larger re-design that the architect Craig Steely completed for the Ludwig Penthouse. It's pretty awesome and its simplicity will most likely inspire you to de-clutter your home theater area.
This penthouse is located on Aquatic Park in San Francisco. It initially had 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, which were quite confusing. The rooms were combined and re-designed, enabling the owners to take advantage of the beautiful views throughout the day.
The lead-in to the home theater room is this beautiful clear and etched ½" glass walls, which includes slabs of black walnut. In one corner, there is a suspended fireplace. The entertainment unit was integrated into the wall, so that it remains unobtrusive. The living room melds into the dining and kitchen areas.
We really like how simple and effective the home theater area is. There's nothing confusing about it, and it works really well. Plus, the fact that it was integrated into the wall makes it very handy. The lighting is provided using ceiling spots.
