I heart craigslist.... New Yorkers like to be the biggest and best at whatever we do, so when I first heard about craigslist from my brother in the late '90s, I assumed that someone in NYC would do something like it, only better. No such luck. Score one for the Bay Area.
Since 1995, craigslist has spread to 31 cities around the world. With 29 million page views clocked in San Francisco alone, we are talking BIG. And NO ADVERTISING! And now, coming this fall to a theater near you, the movie: 24 hours on craigslist:
From a single post on craigslist, we assembled 8 film crews to document a random day-in-the-life of what has evolved into the world's largest community board.
