Is it me, or does San Fran always the best scavenger items?
$850 for a couch isn't really scavenging, per se, but that is a pretty good price. I'm in Kansas City and am negotiating the purchase of a Room & Board Dublin sectional for about 1/4 of the original $2,800 asking price. Pretty good deal if it works out! lol
Our city does have some of the best second hand items and one can always find great deals. I just found an excellent resource for inspiration...check it out.

No way! The Midwest always seems to have the most amazing stuff for one-tenth the price we'd pay in the Bay Area. I'm about ready to rent a truck and head out there for a scavenging expedition. Y'all should come with.
Having said that, I must admit the boomerang coffee table is beyond wonderful. Oh, to have a large living room...
