Terence and Vicki Conran (with Peter Prescott) have made pops of color the centerpiece of the rooms at the Boundary: Restaurant, Rooms and Rooftop in East London. It's another example of bohemian inspiration working well with neutral palettes, but we are also inspired by the pops of orange, red walls and more...Colorful patchwork:
We like the patchwork upholstery by Squint Limited the most, as seen in images 1-4. Sir Terence Conran offers one sofa upholstered by Squint online at The Conran Shop.
Pops of orange:
Images 5-7 show a masterful use of pops of orange to add a vibrancy to the rooms. We especially want to imitate image 6, where the one orange shade brings a pretty classic room to life. And how about that patchwork rug! Talk about a play on traditional design.
Paint the wall red: Or, add a red carpet and sofa. Even in the white and light blue room, the red coffee table helps give the room a focal point.
Multicolor: Conran uses a variety of colors in one object, such as the Eames Hang it All coat hanger, and in multiple objects with a row of vases.
