In celebration of Color Month here at Ohdeedoh, we bring you this brilliant idea we spotted by Dutch artist Helmut Smits. Can you tell how he created this simple rainbow?

Just squeeze out a row of acrylic paints in ROYGBIV order (or not) and then turn on your wipers one time. This is obviously a one shot deal but how fun for the kids to see an instant rainbow happen.
Obviously, you shouldn't get on the road with a rainbow across your front window (but wouldn't that be fun?).

Nomade Express Slee...
So not worth having to clean paint off your windshield & wipers. So not worth it.
Maybe do this right before you replace your wipers for fall? They should be replaced every year at the very least and then you would only have to get the paint off of the windshield, which shouldn't be hard at all.
Er... neat idea I suppose. Not something I would want to have to clean up after.
What a sweet idea!
However, I do want to mention that maybe it should be done on the back window? Just yesterday, there was a terrible accident in our state in which a teen whose windshield was decorated to celebrate her birthday struck and killed a cyclist she couldn't see because her view was obstructed.
Sorry to be the party pooper. It really is cute.
Using acrylic is absolutely stupid...a water based paint would be MUCH easier to clean off!
I think the mess is totally worth it.
I'm going to try this today with my son. I know he'll get a huge kick out of it.
I agree with no acrylic. Tempra would be way better, and super easy to clean!
I would do finger painting paints right before I planned on washing the car anyway.
its great! arent there paints made for the car windows??? i suppose they dry too quickly. wonder if food gel ( like for cakes ) would work too? SUPER FUN!!!
just have to share on my new blog
