This idea has stuck with us since seeing it in Jim and Kari's Evanston house tour. With a simple set of IKEA curtains, the family created a stage in the backyard for the kids. Here's what we love:

• No actual stage is required (no need to build anything!)


• The stage could be as large or as small as your outdoor space allows (just buy or make the appropriate sized curtains)


• The curtains can add some great visual interest and a ton of fun.
