Climbing roses are a thing of beauty and can be an easy way to fill a large amount of space in your garden or against your house. That said finding an affordable and attractive trellis in the size you require however can be almost impossible. Forget the big box stores and make your own from a few simple supplies.
Annalea has been hard at work creating a custom look for the side of her house. After a trip to the hardware store (or farm store) nearby she was set with a few simple supplies. With some wire mesh paneling, a few boards and a bit of hardware she was ready to assemble.
The final look is a perfect fit for the side of her home and will provide a great place for her roses to continue to climbing without being held back or left blowing in the breeze. For an afternoon's worth of work the process provides a great project that would have cost hundreds from a professional landscaper!
