Time lapse photography is cool. More than simply being neat, time lapse can also be quite useful, especially for monitoring slow changes over time, like in a garden. This neat Instructable shows you how to build you own time lapse add on, modifying a camera you already own to suit your time lapse photography needs.
Instructables user Andyk75 shows us how to modify an inexpensive digital camera for use in time lapse photography. To make this project, in addition to the digital camera (he used a Rollei Compactline 52), you will need several items that can be found at an electronics store like SparkFun, these include: a microcontroller, some transistors, resistors and connectors. The main tool that is required is a soldering iron.
