We've been enjoying 70 and 80 degree weather here in D.C. It's time to start thinking about cleaning up your home's outdoor spaces so that the kids can spend as much time outside as possible.
We keep going back to Lowe's Creative Ideas website for some fantastic home projects. This backyard play area is perfect for those with limited outdoor space. You can create these play areas by picking up supplies like PVC pipe, a caulk gun, and a water heater drip pan. For details on how to create these play area projects (as well as others), check out Lowe's Creative Ideas.

Even better, just put those supplies in a bin outside (with drainage holes in the bin) and let your kids design their own play worlds.
This is so awesome! I can't wait to make this a weekend project. Check at your local landfill for free or low cost mulch. Our local Government owned landfill offers free mulch back to the community that they have shredded & chipped from green waste that citizens have brought in from cutting down trees. In fact it's the same mulch that the City uses to mulch our local parks.
Oh, my goodness...I want to be 7 again!
