workstations and wondered how to get the look for yourself? Backlit workstations not only look rather dramatic, but they also help to prevent eyestrain. Sure, there are kits out there made for just this purpose, but isn't doing it yourself so much more fun?Coveting Djenan
Kozic's backlit workstation above? To get the backlit workstation look you have a few DIY options via our favourite large blue box shop, IKEA:
Djenan's setup shown above was created by using LED LACK spotlights attached to the back of the computer.
- If you have a glass desk that you would like illuminated, follow Kevin Freitas' lead and use IKEA Dioder LED lights by affixing them underneath the table using sticky tape.
- For a less expensive option, follow Instructables user Dennisjudd's instructions and use the Ledburg LED lights which are almost half the price of the Dioder lights for illumination around the monitor as shown in his workstation pictured below.
