Gone are the days of docking your iPod to hear the music from it. There's this thing called Bluetooth and companies are honing the capabilities of it and releasing products to the masses. Sure it's not the newest and greatest technology we've ever seen, but, consider us on board.Creative already has a Bluetooth speaker for sale, the ZiiSound D5 Wireless Speaker
. It sells for $299.99 and it "redefines the way music is to be enjoyed". The speakers have been awarded the celebrated red dot award for outstanding product design &mdash and there's no question why.
The design and technology behind any of the bluetooth Creative speakers speak for themselves. Creative doesn't want the cordless feature to stand in the way of trying them, they assure consumers that there is no sound quality difference.
You can wirelessly stream music from any Bluetooth-enabled device such as your mobile phone or notebook, from a range of up to 10 meters from the speakers. You can also plug the included transmitter into your iPhone or iPod and instantly control the ZiiSound D5 wirelessly (or any of their other bluetooth speakers).
The new speakers haven't hit the market yet, but when they do, we're pretty sure they'll be a hit. They'll be available sometime in July and will range in price from $65-$110.
