I really like the wall tree of lights! When I lived in a studio apartment, I had a 2' artificial tree that I decorated, lit up and put on top of my TV. It doesn't have to be big to give you some big spirit.
Love the washi tape tree...there are so many decorating options! I also really love the last picture, but I'm not sure how you would get all of those little trinkets to stay on the wall without ruining the paint when you take them down.
The first picture is hilarious. Of course, I swoon over a picture of every French bulldog and Boston Terrier so no surprise there.
I still have no idea what a washi tape is but seeing the picture I think the generic green masking tape from Home Depot would probably be even better (and cheaper).
I think the most creative option is picture #12, the doily tree.
Decorate for the little ones? Decorate for me! These are great ideas to dress up my first apartment this December without the hassle of a real (or even fake), space-consuming Christmas tree that I wouldn't enjoy the week of the 25th anyway.
I love it! Great idea for those who think they do not have room for a tree!
I would think the chalkboard trees wouldn't last the season.
The back lite trees are really pretty but all in all, if you have kids, give them a tree...even a small one as suggested by Slangevar. Nothing, I think, says Cristmas like a tree unless of course you don't celebrate in that manner.
This is the first year that I am dealing with the Christmas tree/limited space issue. I'm thinking that I'm just going to go with a tiny Charile Brown type tree in the center of my dining room table. I bought some little vintage-y ornaments... I think it will work out ok.
I like them they are very nice!
I love the back lit cutouts! But no matter how tiny my studio apartments of the past, I always found a small space for a 2-3 foot fake tree. (Fakes were required because of fire regulations.) I love some of these as decorations, but they just AREN'T Christmas Trees. For those who care.
Forget the tree. I want that dress!
I really love that Scandinavian Chalkboard Tree.
I love the last tree, one of the joys of the Christmas tree for me is to sit and look at all the beautiful little decorations and bits and bobs hidden in the branches.
To save space I didn't put the back branches in my artificial tree. I put the "extra branches" in the front/sides as filler.
I absolutely love these!!! We've been on a tree making bender at our home so much so that I think I've bought out all the wooden dowels in the craft stores.
WOW ..WOW ...WOW every one is fab..I had a tree limb covered in cotton..then decorations ...what fun. You have given me inspiritation for this year..no needles to sweep nor a big box to store.
In college I used to do a table top branch or tree and decorate with earrings, among other things. It was beautiful and served its purpose, and made me feel warm and cozy for at least giving it the old college try.
I was going to put up our sad tabletop tree this weekend, but these are much better ideas! Thanks.
I thought that boston terrier was a cat in the thumbnail...a cat in a tutu.
Backlit and felt trees are favorites. Very nice all of them
I love all of these! I was crafting with some friends last night and took a photo that just "happened" to look like a tree! It can be made from pieces of wood and stamping!

All these trees are so cute and adorable, how ingenious and inventive, nobody can say they are off the wall, they really are on the wall. I love it.

I am crazy for the backlit tree I would keep it up all year round, then add more "trees" to my wall, then I can move them about, and then...well, you get the idea SO many ways to have fun!

Love the doily tree and want to do on my window. Not having luck finding lace cutout doiys. Perhaps some were handmade snowflakes? Any sugestions where to get.
