How do you spare tons of concrete from a busted up driveway from heading to the dump? Simple: turn it into a walkway! It's a good way to reuse old concrete that would otherwise get disposed of in the dump.
This project was made by Heather at EnviroMom and her husband whose neighbor was replacing an old concrete patio and driveway. Heather and her husband asked for the remains and used them to create the stairway pictured below which leads to a previously inaccessible part of their yard. While I'm sure it was a little harder lugging up hundred pound blocks of concrete than a standard brick, the materials were free. It has a great deconstruction modernist feel to it.
