Q: My apartment complex recently replaced my dishwasher. They left behind one of the rolling rack shelves. I'm trying to find a creative reuse for it, and currently have only thought of hanging it from the ceiling and making a collage. Does anyone else have thoughts or ideas?

If it has the rollers you could use it under the bed for storage of small items like scarves, shoes, etc..
You could use it to store plates and kitchen ware if you have a cabinet deep enough for it. Or use it under the bed for art supplies. OR...maybe outdoors filled with pots for herbs?

Maybe I watch too much Hoarders, but that seems like a prime candidate for the trash. Especially when you have no idea what to do with it.
my first thought was 'throw it OUT'..but..the under the bed thing if possible is a good idea:recycle ;)
Maybe flip it on it's side on a shelf, cabinet or pantry that is deep enough and store thin baking sheets/similar items on...
But chances are at some point someone's going to look at it cockeyed and say 'Is that a dishwasher tray??'
again..wish there was a 'like' button...ha Dilly Dally..
Hang it on a wall in a closet or somewhere out of site and use it to hang scarves or necklaces and other jewlery; use it for dvd/cd storage in an oversize drawer or trunk, or under the bed or sofa (bad feng shui though). If you could spray paint it and manage to secure it to a wall, I think the possibilities would really open up. Be sure to let us know how you make out.
