Shabby chic, a style so often relegated to wedding planning, is especially charming in a garden setting—and that's exactly what makes this little bench so undeniably cute. This full-sized bed frame was bought for a few dollars at a yard sale, and all its pieces were reused to create a cozy and solid seat. Here's how.
This bed frame was found at a thrift shop, and then all the pieces (including those slats) were put together in a new way. With a little bit more bracing underneath, the bench is really solid and is comfortable and inviting. This particular bench is even painted with remnant paint bought for next-to-nothing at an estate sale, making it 100% recycled!
