In Images 3 and 4, the pairing of charcoal gray and a darker green makes for rich and dramatic rooms. Images 1 and 8 show the peaceful possibilities of the color combination, while the introduction of chartreuse mixes things up (Images 6 and 10).

White Enamel Four-P...
Oh my goodness I LOVE THIS! And this combo is one that I haven't see done to pieces (cough, orange and blue, which I really like but I've seen it overandover).
Hmm... Slytherin colors.
I prefer the paler/brighter greens for this look over the darker/deeper greens...but that's just my personal taste.
Nope not a good color combo.
love that first picture - the dresser and the frames above.
LOVE! the moss green chest against the cool grey wall. Now wondering if I could re-do my bedroom dresser...
How do you achieve the finish on the dresser? I have an old dresser I've been wanting to do that to?
We are doing a pale grey in our house and have chosen green as our go-to accent color. I'm loving it so far! Of course we have other color going on with art and accessories. Overall though, the prominent palette is cool gray, white trim, mix of white and black furniture (with a few wood a metal pieces as well), and pops of green throughout. Its a small house so the green kind of ties the rooms together.
Pretty funny seeing my toilet next to that gorgeous dining room from Veranda! Thanks, Apartment Therapy!
Clearly I'm a sucker for the gray + green too.
While I am not really a fan of these two colors together. I really like 7. I like the idea of extending the cabinetry from the living room to the kitchen when they are both opened to each other. We will be moving soon and the apartments longest wall space runs from the kitchen to the living room and I will be needing Some kind of storage system that can house my electronics, art work, books and dishes.
alemar, just sand the dresser to bare wood. Use water-based tinted stain (no wood conditioner so it's not an even absorption, allowing grain to show through.) Distress corners. For the rustic look, top off with matte finish (or in the picture: don't patch holes left by original hardware!)
Green and Grey are difficult to combine I find it to be on the oppressive side not very cheery. They can make one look pretty drab, I like to live in colors that I would wear.
I do love a piece of green here and there like the in photo #1 and #9 but not as a color scheme.
I feel pretty good about the 1st picture. I would love to know more about that painting technique on the dresser...
Another advantage to green on the walls is that it is supposed to be the most complimentary color for any type of artwork, so you can change things up, without having to paint all over again.
Surprisingly, I like it! I have a room with deep green carpet (for now), and wanted grey for the walls, curtains, etc. but didn't know if I'd like it. Now I'm going for it. Thanks!
