
We know someone who can open a bottle with anything - their teeth, a key, a lighter, the ring on their finger. It's a great party trick that we have so far been totally incapable of picking up. So we like the idea of this Crow Bottle Opener - half object d'art, half functional tool.
Leave it on the mantle and the next time a guest asks where the bottle opener is, grab it and open that drink for them. Maybe not quite as impressive as our friend, but prettier and much less likely to result in a trip to the emergency dentist.

I like the lines of the DWR version better although the rare device version might be easier to hold: http://www.dwr.com/product/crow-bottle-opener.do
Also, it opens the bottle using the space between the tail feathers and feet rather than the beak, which took me awhile to figure out.
Crow? Both the Rare Device and DWR versions look a lot like the Guinness Toucan to me:
