Name: Little C (2)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Color Inspiration: I started with Joel Dewberry's Aviary line, but wanted to bring in pops of fuchsia, since baby pink is not my favorite color. I love the unusual combination of brown and grey with the chartreuse and fuchsia.
Tip for Using Color: Keep it bright, and use pops of color to break up the white. This makes the space feel calm yet still interesting to babies and toddlers.
Colors Used: Freshaire choice natural wilderness on the grey furniture and fuchsia craft paint on the tree.
Thanks for your colorful entry Kayla and good luck!

Sprout Side Table
I love the unusual placement of the crib! So smart! And I love the gray rocking chair...did you paint it?
The fuchsia and chartreuse against the neutral background are so lovely. And I have been looking for a tree decal exactly like that for ages. Can you please post the source?
I'd also love to know the paint color you used on the walls. There are so many grays out there it's hard to figure out which one is which. Thanks!!
LO-VE-LY !!
I really like the re-use of the student desk as the changing table. Now THERE'S a piece that will truly grow with your child.
Love pink and green together!
Where are the cylindrical floor poufs from?
Absolultely adorable! Can you decorate my room????
Thanks guys! I love how peaceful yet fun this room is.
To answer your questions:
-The walls are really kind of a boring beige, Basic Beige by Glidden
-Yes, we sanded, primed and painted the rocking chair . It was the one mom my had when I was a baby. It was that dark wood with gold flowers from 1979!
-I painted the tree on the wall of what used to be my sewing room long before I was pregnant, and just repainted the dots to match the nursery colors.:)
Oh, and the poufs used to be covered in rattan(?) from somewhere like World Market. They were in bad shape, so I just reused the cylindrical foam form inside. These are so fun for all ages!
adorable space. where is the crib from?
The crib is the parklane by babymod. We just left the drawer off.
Nice job! I really like this design.
