Popcorn is definitely a favorite snack in our home -- we could eat it just about every day. And while we love how easy it is to just throw in a bag of popcorn kernels in the microwave, we think it's nice for our son to actually see how popcorn pops. Enter Cuisinart's EasyPop Popcorn Maker.
This stainless steel cutie, $69.95, pops 10 cups in 5 minutes and offers some great visual entertainment for your little popcorn connoisseur. Add some butter, caramel or salt and make your treat even better!

Available in red, black, pink or white, one is sure to fit your kitchen's decor.

whoa I want one of these! have to check where they are available in NL
Are these hot air poppers or do they use a heating element and oil?
It's cool looking and all, but really it's just another one-task appliance to take up kitchen space. I think I'll stick to my glass covered pot -- you can still see the kernels pop but it is the ultimate multi-tasker.
I agree with icicle... Plus the price tag is a bit steep for something you can get at Target or where ever for less than 20 bucks. Who keeps a popcorn popper on their counter?
A $70 machine that only makes popcorn!?!? Do you people have pots at your house?!? A pot with a lid is all it takes to make popcorn--paying for and storing anything else signifies your position in the sheeple class.
This looks like an oil popper, not an air one. So sad! I've been looking for a decent looking air popper for a year now
this was one of the best Christmas presents we have ever received -- we use it a lot, although it sits in our pantry, not out on our counter (we have almost no counter space). $70 is insane, I know I've seen this around for LOTS cheaper.
I wanna say you can use it without oil, but don't hold me to that.
It's really pretty and I love the idea that the popping top could probably be unscrewed to use as cute popcorn bowl, but I just love air-poppers too much :D
I searched everywhere for an air popper years ago, target, sears, and finally found one at Khols. What a healthy snack to munch on, but $70 heck no!
I got one of them for Christmas a couple of years ago and it stopped working after a couple of months. Don't bother. We now have an air popper, which I prefer to the pot on the stove method because no oil and less mess.
