these are cute. it looks like they could be a good DIY project, but how do you cut a hole in the bottom of the glass to string the cord through? does anybody know?
fardaesm - I think you just need to use a diamond drill bit to drill a hole in the glass/ceramic. A good hardware store associate should be able to steer you to exactly what you need.
I really like this idea, seen it before in other AT posts.
Pendants like these hang above the coffee bar at the breakfast joint Boom! on College St. in Toronto...I've admired them for many accumulated hours standing in line for my eggs.
