Q: I just moved in to an apartment with "grandma's timeshare in Florida" windows, complete with horizontally sliding balcony door and windows. I would love to hang dramatic, floor-to-ceiling curtains to make the relatively low ceiling look taller, but below the window on the left there are baseboard heaters.
I am concerned that having a curtain at an appropriate length will cover the baseboard and will keep the (already inefficient!) air from circulating in the room. Any suggestions on how to work around this? Am I relegated to blinds?
