There's a mad scientist quality to these planters that I simply adore. Fashioned from recycled bits of furniture, the Da Morto A Orto planter exhibition by designers Peter Bottazzi and Denish Bonapace debuted at Milan 2011. The collection features pieces intended to be used as indoor kitchen gardens and for classroom horticulture study. I love how the designers have taken random pieces and mixed them together to create furniture hybrids. And the new plant life springing from these dilapidated objects is so alluring... they make me want to try making one myself!
What do you think? Do these pieces inspire you to make a mish-mash planter of your own?
