Name: Damion Michaels
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Your Home Office Organization or Tech Tip: I run an interactive design and consulting studio, and this is my home studio. The desk is a 1965 Herman Miller Executive desk 40"x80". The back desk is a Biomorph studio desk. My computer is an iMac 27" with a 24" attached. I collect Orange Crush memorabilia and then fell into finding anything vintage that had orange or robin's egg blue in it that complements the chocolate brown walls in the office.
The right side of my studio is a magnetic based painted wall that I have dry surface mounted pictures with magnetic tape backing sticking to the wall. My children move them about all of the time.

Nomade Express Slee...
very colorful! what is the plastic cube shelving?
They are cubitz from Israel. But you can also get them from Design Within Reach stateside. I think they come in pink now as well. I chose orange for obvious reasons. Thanks for the comments.
This is the coolest home studio I have ever seen. What got you involved in collecting orange crush stuff? Was it just the color or what? I like the balance of mid-century modern and the technology.
Thanks for the comment. I find that the more the office is creative and unique it buys me credibility with my clients. Some even ask about what they can do with their office -home and business. I started collecting Orange Crush bottles and advertising because it is of course, orange, but it is also nearly impossible to find. Orange Crush and Grape Nehi were my favorite as a kid. And this office was supposed to be playful. I just feel comfortable and creative in the space.
