We love finding a new resource. This one is all Danish design, all the time: the Danish Design Store. We don't know where they hell they are located, but they've got an exceptional selection of minimal, high quality Danish furnishings and lighting from Fritz Hansen, Bestlite, Gubi, Carl Hansen & Son, Louis Poulsen and even bath and kitchen hardware by Arne Jacobsen...

Huh. Never knew the Cafe Costes chairs by Philippe Starck were Danish!
No sales tax outside MI. - somewhere................
Ha, ptoo! I was rushing here to make the same snide comment!
Not to mention the pendant light by Achille Castiglioni overhead.
Hahaha.
They were actually flogging the Danish wall unit in that picture, if you wits had checked their catalogue. (Maxwell did set that one up with his intro!)
But hey, notwithstanding that the picture does not support Maxwell's point, the shot is really quite effective...it really shows how well Danish marries with other styles and periods... When was the last time you considered a Café Costes chair or that pendant light interesting? Would have been dismissed as too '80s... but hey, it is looking good again in this combo...
Located online only, it seems, since they give no store address.
The company is based in Grand Rapids, MI, but they're probably drop-shipping from suppliers.
I think that it's interesting that they are only distributing Arne Jacobsen's fixture line and none of his other stuff. Could be due to their agreements with DWR and a few others...... hmmmm.
That's my sofa! I bought it from another online company, House of Copenhagen. It shipped to me directly from Denmark.
The storage unit looks a lot like IKEA's Bonde.
