Darth Vader Now Providing Directions on TomTom

We know that Star Wars day was yesterday, but we could not help sharing this news as we think this might just be one of the most fun things to happen to GPS navigation in some time. TomTom will now be providing Star Wars voices so you can live out your childhood dream of receiving directions from the Dark Side.

TomTom will be releasing one Star Wars character a month, starting with Darth Vader, whose voice will be available for $13 download to guide you to your destination. The other voices being released are C-3PO, Yoda, and Han Solo.

Not going to lie, this announcement kind of makes us wistful for our car owning days, too bad Darth Vader does not also do the voices for the MTA. We are also thinking our partner would be much more likely to use GPS navigation in rental vehicles and also obey the directions if they were being given by Lord Vader, making the rental car journey all that much more enjoyable for all involved.

For more information, and to hear the voice samples, check out TomTom.
