We've talked a lot about the pros and cons to having a television in the bedroom. Most people are fully against it and would never let a television disrupt their quiet place. Well, in comes Dave and stirs up the whole pot — he not only believes in having a television in his room, he believes in having two.

Glancing into his bedroom you don't notice anything out of place. It's a well put together room with plenty of reading material, great bedroom ambience and that's about it. If you look a little further, you'll see the side of a television poking out of the bookshelves, and if you look even further, you'll see what could be a second one — shocking!
Dave is no stranger to the house tour process on Apartment Therapy. He's an interior designer and frequently switches up his pad in hopes of designing his space to look a little more "Dave". He thinks he finally hit the jackpot and if that meant two televisions in the bedroom, so be it.
He put the two tv's in the room for those gloomy rainy days that keep people in bed all day. So what if he wants to watch two shows at once, good for him! We love that the tv's don't stick out like sore thumbs and they actually blend in with the dark colors in the room.

Great room, especially the bookshelves, but the TVs ruin it for me.
Yeah, he probably could go with a twin sized bed there, because it's likely he's never going to need to worry about anyone else wanting to spend the night there.
I find it odd that people have a problem with a TV in the bedroom but everyones alright with having a cell phone next to your bed all the time and ignore all of the health risks involved with that but a TV, thats awful, right?
I couldn't live without a TV in the bedroom, I grew up with my whole family having them in the bedrooms and all of my friends and my girlfriend now always has done too, in fact this is the first place where I've seen people against having TVs in the bedroom and I come from a very social background and family.
I don't think most people are against a television in the bedroom - most people I know HAVE a television in the bedroom, but when you're talking interior design, more people will claim to be against it from an 'academic sense' but practically? I really know very few people who don't have a television in their room.
I recently got rid of my TV while still having my computer/office in my bedroom - I solve the problem of still wanting a TV by putting my 23" monitor on a lazy susan. It serves as my monitor and then I spin it around to watch Netflix or Hulu from my lounge chair or bed.
Hells yeah. Just add a built in beer tap to the nightstand and call it done.
Living in a grouphouse situation would definitely mean a TV in my bedroom, however living in my own place I'm quite happy to have the TV in the loungeroom and none in the bedroom.
