- Inspiration for my palette:
- I have always loved color and feel it is an important part of an interior. For this particular space, I was inspired by two different Wassily Kandinsky paintings that now hang in the room. I wanted the bright colors found in the paintings to be found throughout the space.
- Colors used in my room
- Green, Black, Gray, Blue, Orange, Red
- Tips for using color successfully

Room for Color
I just signed on this morning and I am so excited to see another fabulous dark nursery! I love that you weren't married to a shapes theme and instead, took color inspiration from the Kandinsky prints. I think this is an enexpected but fun theme for nursery. Good luck!
for *a nursery. :)
Love it! The dark just makes the colors look brighter! Did you make the mobile or purchase it? I'm making a mobile for my niece's nursery, and I'm still trying to figure out the best way to construct it.
What a wonderful "grown up" nursery! Love it! Love all the colors!
Very cute. Where did you find the curtains?
Love your style sensibility and inspiration:) I wouldn't go this dark in a baby's room. The first color infants "react" to is yellow. I would tend to go relaxing and light (not necessarily pastels, either).
The crane mobile is beautiful!
Beautiful mobile!
Love it; the Kandinsky prints, the art, the mobile, the table, everything. Good luck!
Love the art and accessories in the room! I think the only changes I'd make would be some lighter furniture like the crib. Just a pop of white to give the eye a rest.
Very dark nursery. It's not something that I would do but you did and thats great that you took that chance. ( I wanted to say risk, but then I thought, why would it be a risk?)
