Providence-based artist Ben Jones' whimsical furniture designs are three-dimensional interpretations of his colorful geometric artwork that has been exhibited worldwide and draws its inspiration from comics, graffiti and low-fi video games.

Jones' colorful cubes at the recent Thirty Days NY pop-up gallery.

Much of Jones' artwork is digital, including animation, but the pieces are hand-painted rather than mass-produced. While the bright colors may seem more appropriate for a child's room, our hearts beat faster over fearless use of color in a grown-up space.

Ben Jones' furniture was exhibited at Johnson Trading Gallery and more of his artwork is on view at his website, benjaminqjones.org.
