Looking for a place to find a one of a kind light fixture? Look no further! Bulb is a small store located on Locust Street and you can't imagine how many wonderful pieces are located all under one roof. It's truly a light lovers dream.
Looking for a place to find a one of a kind light fixture? Look no further! Bulb is a small store located on Locust Street and you can't imagine how many wonderful pieces are located all under one roof. It's truly a light lovers dream.
Bulb carries a variety of contemporary, unique, one of a kind lighting fixtures, as well as commercial pieces. Most pieces carried at Bulb cannot be found in other Philadelphia locations, so it's a great place to shop if you have a few extra dollars to spend. Keep in mind when shopping at Bulb that the prices are certainly higher than your average lighting retailer, but I imagine well worth it.
Most designers that are carried at Bulb are European and can only be purchased through specified U.S retailers. For a list of designers carried in the store, check out their website

Featured fixture is not a fixture...it's an equisite sculpture. Knocked my socks off.

I've got a couple of the fixtures in the first picture, they actually look even better with smaller bulbs - E14. They're called pistilliono.

Indeed - I've seen Pistillino used in all kinds of places:
From the sets of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (I think they were in Ten-Forward or the VIP Guest Quarters) to a local SF Italian restaurant in North Beach and the Pinnacle Wine Bar aboard Noordam.

I have been thinking about getting the Jonathan Adler version of the first light for my living room. Love it!

When I lived in England I had a pendant light in my hallway that consisted of a spherical metal grid with zip ties on it. I hated it.
Now that I'm back home, I have need for a pendant lamp to replace the "Roy Clark meets Home Interiors" one in my hallway. I found myself searching for just that lamp.
Does anyone know what I am talking about? I thought they were sold in habitat over there. Google gives me nothing. Anyone?
